Navy Pier Aligns With City Of Chicago In Lifting Its Mask Requirement

The City of Chicago has aligned with the State of Illinois in removing mask and vaccine requirements for certain public spaces on February 28, 2022.

Navy Pier has aligned with the City and State by lifting the face mask requirement at the Pier. Additionally, guests will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination to dine or drink indoors at Navy Pier, effective February 28.

Navy Pier has strictly adhered to the City’s covid mitigation mandates and will continue to do so should the need arise. Mask requirements will continue where federally mandated, such as on public transit and in high-risk settings including healthcare facilities and congregate care.

Click here for details from the City of Chicago announcement.

Please note, some partner establishments and attractions may still have vaccine and mask requirements. These currently include:

  • Chicago Children’s Museum
  • Chicago Shakespeare Theater
  • City Experiences Cruises by Hornblower
  • Faces in Focus

Please contact the attraction prior to attendance for more details.
